I remember hearing about this being a girls only alley cat and I was all keen to show up in a dress as a statement about the oppression I feel as a male growing up in a post feminist society.

This though sounds even better and more intriguing.
I'm thinking of armor that'll will keep the theme in mind and hopefully serve padding for my all too numerous stacks.
Perhaps I'll spray paint my helmet chrome and wear my pollution mask and be a ninja bicycle knight travelling backwards and fowards in time to save damsels and assassinate cruel japanese dictators.

Kudos to you kim for rallying the townsfolk for jovialities, jousting something else beginning with J.

Will there be any alley cat type event or anything that involves a bigger gear?
As I'm wondering wether to bring my polo bike or my work bike

Haha, I've heard from a few people that others thought it was girls only. Maybe because a femme is organising it, they assume so? That would make it open to a total of 5 or so girls haha. But allow me to confirm that EVERYONE is welcome to enter this event. : ) balls or spadge, no discrimination.

And I love your costume idea! I think antmandan or midnightbarber are going to have to step it up if they want to beat a man with armour : P. Cos that is so hardcore.

So...Who's dressing up?! I'll tell you now, the prize is worth the effort : D

!UPDATE!
The ever charming and wonderfully gifted Dave Bell from BO Gear has joined the sponsor wagon! His line of functional and super awesome bags and accessories can be found here... www.bogear.com Thanks Dave! You're a champ!

Excellent! or perhaps I should say 'Verily!'

But what about the ratio?
Should I bring my work bike or the polo pony?
