1000 kilometre ride | New Zealand north island, newly establish track. Cyclocross

Hi all.

Hunting for some adventurers to join us to ride the entire north island OF NEW ZEALAND, in APRIL 2014.
There will be an even mix of thick country tarmac, dirt and gravel track.
We hope to complete over 8 days weather permitted commencing the tuesday, 8th APRIL 2014.

Riding ability needs to be moderate but quick/experienced are welcome provided they are happy to govern the pace a little.

Would be nice to have a mix of random riders, all will be video documented and there will be plenty of swimming, camping, local beer drinking and eating. there are some kiwis already confirmed.

Would like to know more. This isn’t the Kiwi Brevet is it??

The brevet is the south island and in Feb (that looks good, was not aware of that ride). There is a new trail through the centre of the north island and most will be completed by APRIL. I am just building a official route at the moment but updates can be found here:
