11 on 10

anybody know if 11 speed campy will go on 10 speed wheels? not fixed i know but you gotta climb sometimes. want to fit campag 11 on my ‘new’ ken roadie.

yip but it will cost you a fair bit…
a more climbie cassette would be a lot cheaper…

a 12-26 would be pretty good for hilling around…

i think you’re answering the wrong question: he wants to know if an 11 speed cassette will work, not if an 11 tooth cog will work.

that said, I don’t know…

It will work, as Campy made the 11 speed cassettes fit into the same spacing as their 10 speed cassettes.

it will fit the free body as they are the same 9-10-11 speed

but you’ll need 11 speed shifters, chain and cassette…
and then your de-railers will have 10 speed written on 'em not 11 speed…
also the lowest part of the campy 11 speed set up is the chorus set and it’s still expensive gear…
you might even need 11 speed front chain rings as the whole 11 speed set up has a narrower chain and gear set…

a 10 speed wheel will fit though

this is what i expected. prepared to shell out for new group, just didn’t wanna have to go for new wheels as well.

sounds sexy post some pics when your done…
