From what I have seen of the Pog here, Jonas’s build up is irrelevant. I don’t see that he would have ever stayed with the Pog when he has attacked, no matter what pre-tour training he did.

Ermmm - seems the moto picked a bad line around a traffic island, the first rider followed, everyone followed… everyone slowed and concertina and then bad things happened. ‘Racing incident’.

Came here hoping for some of Jamesey’s memes (especially now Gerro AND Caleb are commentating) but will simply mention the Carapaz sensations seemed good and the vibes on Alpe D’Huez seem immaculate

What an amazing Stage! 
I thought that the gap allowed was way to much, especially as Pog had a depleted Team behind him but he completely buried himself and chased down everyone. Did the 1.6Klm of help from Yates do much, not as far as pulling time back goes but it possibly gave him a little recovery so that he could totally empty the tank from a bit further up the road. 
The expected push by Evenepoel didn’t eventuate like most were saying but he will be hard to dislodge from 2nd place now.
Del Toro’s health seems to have gotten better and he hard a strong ride and certainly put the final nail in the coffin of Ayuso 
but Seixas could still strike tomorrow for the best Young Rider category if he burnt to many matches today.

How lucky and unlucky at the same time, was Sepp Kuss! Leading and crashes twice but retained the lead after the first one but that second one Carapaz past him before he got back on the bike. If he had of crashed 1.5mtrs further along, he would have gone over the side to certain major injuries.

I thought he was going to win and deserved to, for riding Carapaz off his wheel.
You don’t deserve to if you crash twice though.

It doesn’t help when you have the Team car screaming at you come on come on you can do it, plus they have been saying that the edges of the roads are very dusty. He gave it a red hot crack but adrenalin would have played a part in that second one also I think.

TDF 2026 done and dusted now.
It had been looking a bit bland until the last few days but it finished on a high note this morning (Aussie time).
If we were just reading about it, it wouldn’t seem like it was that interesting in the final stage.
But I will say that the live coverage of the last stage was FANTASTIC !
And not just the racing.
The aireal panoramas of the Paris course and its scenery was BREATHTAKING, really BREATHTAKING !!
Presumably done with drones.
The crowds were captured in intimate detail.
The riders were captured in action better than i have ever seen before.
The commentary by Bridie, Simon and Matt was laser sharp.
But the most impressive part of the coverage was (perhaps) the intimate and intense moments of jubilation revealed amongst many or most of the finishers, their teammates, their Team workers and in some cases their relatives.
An outstanding sports media event. I’m sure the highlights on SBS TV later today will have most of it for those who were unable to watch it live.
