i’m having a crack at this: lucky dip!
interesting ‘531 respray’ seat tube decal (that is of a different vintage/design to fork blade decal). haven’t seen this before.
It has something to do with Reynolds restricting the availability of decals without the purchase of tube sets, they released the ‘respray’ sticker sometime after the 70’s to meet demand. Yeah I fucked up with this one. Wanted it, was going to bid, got held up on skype call and totally slipped my mind. I spoke to Hillman Cycles the other day, its 56x57, Reynolds 531 built in 1975.
I hope someone here got it…
