Back in Melbourne

So I got off the plane, drove down Sydney road.

And it started.

Fixed gear bikes could be spotted everywhere, all the way into the city. I left 2 & 1/2 years ago, and fixed is more popular than tight black jeans.

I’ll be shutting down the site for fear of further encouragement, active immediately.

The seeds you have sewn have been well-tended in the garden. Welcome back.

But there’s some weeding to be done.

I dont know about that.

Welcome back, hopefully i will see you on a ride.

thread revival, but i’ve been reading NickJ’s blog, and he was in Samoa this week, just read his twitter feed and he says western samoa was not hit by the tsunami but did have an earthquake. lucky escape i guess.

redux: western samoa was hit by a tsunami, but i or my boat were not injured or wrecked. i watched the harbour dry as the surge took place. my parents were visiting on the south of western samoa, and the place they were at was flattened. they were interviewed here: http://www.theage.com.au/world/tourists-caught-in-wall-of-terror-as-tsunami-strikes-20090930-gc8y.html

nick.

Wow. Glad to hear you’re all ok.
