Baron’s Strong Brew…8.8%alc w/v the only thing about Singapore that’s not pissweak.
From “ratebeer” magazine:
“Baron?s Strong Brew has a fruity and delicate hop note. It is pale gold in colour and the light hop flavour and alcohol have a zingy taste plus a citrusy nearly lime-like character that is wrapped in a slightly sweet malt flavour. In the finish the alcohol is most noticeable as it evaporates off your tongue and creates a cool sensation. When ice cold, the alcohol and the sharpness of the bubbles are a little harsh on the palate. When it warms a bit the malt flavours fatten out and coat the palate in a much nicer way. Overall a clean, high strength lager that is dangerously easy to drink. Watch out for the ?WHAM? at the end of the bottle when you stand up”
Watch out for the ‘WHAM’…I speak from knowledge.
