Annual Wilson HTM Brissie to the coast 100k. Sunday 15th October
Whos interested in 100k fixed… and if you’re really keen, back again (a few guys from roadgrime.com are planning a return ride).
More info at http://www.bq.org.au/b2gc100/
I’m keen…done!
brooke and i are going to be there.
only one way tho cause we suck.
that and neither of us will have slept for a couple of days by then…
Sounds good. I’m keen to ride back, but that I think all depends on how stuffed I am once I get down there… at least theres train stations relatively close all the way back…
I’m in.
Has anyone registered yet?
We get a discount if we have 10+ riders, but the first 10 have to register at once. (www.bq.org.au/b2gc100)
- fryshaun
- rhino
- lupine
- brooke
- blakey
Registered on 18th August…along with a few others from work…mixture of gears and SS , plus me on the pinkarello.
May just decide to go with you bunch of fixies instead…'cos the work lads don’t ride… but it will be one way only for me
… but will it make it ?

brooke and i already rego’d cause there aren’t many places left. sorry.
Ok, guess we’ll struggle for 10 people in this amount of time, so just go and register off your own bat and hang the $10.

Could be the last hurrah…she’s creaking real bad, and I’m having a hard time getting under 90kg, so there’s no relief in sight for her…
I see…the old US vs THEM…poor rhino out the back gets overlooked again…
since when are busses driven from the back?
Talk about Paranoia !!! A bloke changes his mind from geared and slow to fixed and …not quite so slow, and opens a can of worms.
Maybe I should just get the ‘gearies’ to join the ‘fixies’ on this one…One of them is 125kg plus and the other rides a 64.5cm frame, so they should be great windbreaks !!!
hell you can get that from me. and i bet i’m the slowest here

(7) (5?) Simon. Sounds good. will be good to see you all again. let me know if simultaneous registration is a goer.
Say hello when you see me out there. It looks like I’ll be roped in as a marshall.
I’m in, registration done. looking forward to the ride but the thought of having a swim and a coffee when i get there will just make the day.
Anyone thought about the best way to RV before it starts??
In the absence of any response to this…may I suggest southern endof the Goodwill Bridge / Maritime Museum Entrance from 05:30 ish ???
sounds good to me, I’d go straight through there on my way to the start anyway.
There haven’t really been any Bris fixed rides (other than the early FFFFridays) since i got fixed. Will be good to meet you guys.
Maybe up amongst the action??
There are a set of concrete posts/bollards that the trials guys mess about on just adjacent the entrance to the Energex Arbour in the Southbank forecourt - the marshalling area.
Then make it more like 5:45ish??
