Brake cable seized inside toptube

i have internal cable routing on a new frame that im working on.
there was a brake cable (casing) already in the top tube when i bought it.

when i tried to take it out the other day i realized it was a bit stuck. so i elbow greased it up and yanked it out. unfortunately there is a small section still stuck inside closer to the seat post end. maybe a few cm’s inside.

does anyone have any tips or have maybe dealt with this problem before.

cheers

EZ out. Jam it into the cable housing and pull it out. Be sure the spray the area with a penetrating lubricant… liberally!

Either that or use a drill bit, probably 3mm, drill slowly into the housing until it bites into the inner part and rotates the cable, then pull it out.
