Yeah, usually they are, that’s why I like the MKS. You can get cheap ones on eBay like this… they are bigger than required, but the will fit on and do what they are supposed to.

As for the stock in CBD bike shops, better ask them.

You need to know the axle diameter, which will be around 10mm.

You also need to know how thick the track end is. Do you have a steel frame?

i can get basic chain tensioners at my lbs for about $1.50 each

okay i got a pair today for $9
so, they don’t exactly fit but they’ll do.
my drop outs ar too thin…
can my chain be too tight?
