I wanted to build a roadie on a reasonable budget, and really liked the price and look of the colossi frames I’d seen. So, here’s what I ended up with, massive thanks to Gypsy for sorting out the frame, top bloke!

Frame / fork / headset: Colossi Cheeko Road 49cm / Columbus Tusk Light / Chris King
Groupset: Campagnolo Veloce (centuar shifters)
Wheelset: Campy Zonda
Seatpost / Seat: Pro LT (thomson elite yet to arrive), Selle Italia something.
Cockpit: Thomson Elite x4 110mm / 3T Ergonova Pro 42cm

Did its first century this week, rode beautifully. Looking forward to many km’s to come.

Yeah nice! I was actually thinking about these frames not long ago before I decided to Kumo up. Enjoy racking up the km’s! Out of interest, what is that colour you have used as the base?

Yeh, looks nice. My Bro-in-law has a colossi rambler road on the way, can’t wait to build it up.

that’s turned out great, smorph! i was interested in the cheeko for build but didn’t pull the trigger because i wanted to see it in the flesh first. the paint on yours is great
