I’ve looked through epx’s site as well as their ebay store. Couldn’t find any pedals for $50. Do you have to personally go to the store?

Whipped!!! Now that I finally have you at my command … you need to give me those Phil wheels. HAHAHAHA!!!
You know the right people, you get the good prices
Max and I just walked in, payed $50 each, and walked out with pedals Apparently they have lots more too.
And if you do you can adjust the spring tension. Oh, you probably dont know what that is.
i found that the only way to be sure i didn’t pull out of SPD’s was to run them so tight that i could barely get into the damn things in the first place.
i guess biggest problem with them is that the moving sprung part is at the rear of the pedal. and that just happens to be the part you are pulling against when skidding or slowing. with times, the sprung moving part is at the front, so when you skid, you are pulling against the fixed part.
having said that, it was weird for the first day to feel my foot moving when pushing down on the stroke cause my foot was pushing forward a bit and moving the spring.
i learned to deal.
haven’t pulled out of these in months of work. skidded the whole lenght of edward street pretty much and stayed in through the complete destruction of my gatorskin tyre, so they can’t be too bad.
and now i’m using the platform version on MTB as well. awesome pedals. i’m using 3 different versions, and they are all great. platforms on the MTB, aliums on the yellow fixie, and atac xe’s on the redline work bike.
You should all ride Clips and straps.
Won’t pull out on a skid if you strap in tight enough!!!
And your buggered if you fvck a track stand
