custom woolworths

i found the frame hanging from a street sign on loftus street, leederville.
stripped the paint off it, had it powercoated, and built the bike up from scratch.

this is the result. better pics to come.

the nitto bars have been dropped down since these pictures so they look less goofy.

to do:

  • attach SL/dura-ace toe clips
  • remove cable holders on frame
  • find some bar ends and determine best tape/grip arrangement

a frame upgrade isn’t out of the question. thoughts welcome

hanging from a street sign ay… one mans junk is another mans treasure! good work.

It better not have been a ghost bike or your going to Hell.

Haha, I built a friends conversion from a Woolworths frame.

Probably should have done that before you got it powdercoated

‘dude, this bike i found rules but it took so long to get all this shitty white paint off it. And some dumb cunt put flowers all over the fucker, took ages to pick them out of the spokes…’

Damn nice find. And nice build. Looks good. Cinelli tape is good and cheap. Mad variety too.
It’s crazy to see people rolling with bars without tape. I think it looks great but obviously is dangerous as shit. I know that’s not your plan I’m just saying some people actually ride that way… Anyways ya Cinelli tape is good.

Are Deep V rims real cheap in Australia?
