when i first saw these, i was bit ‘nice, but not grabbing me’… but now having seen tre-boom rip up more than a few courses on them i think his setup makes them pretty rad (and hi-vis yellow is the new white for looking PRO)

Word is that he will be riding an Alu specialized (but with some tweaks) for the Worlds (QS are moving to Specialized as of Jan 1). Not sure why he won’t be on their carbon frame (or if the rumours are true)
I like how it kinda looks like a CX version of a Tarmac… (sans curved TT)
Seems like Spesh riders like Todd Wells are on the alu frame. I think the Crux carbon is just a rebaged Tricross carbon? That’d make it a pretty old frame design, as far as carbon tech goes.

The Shorty Ultimate seems to be the preferred choice. Stybar has them on his Merckx rig.
