Try chop chop changs at west end. Food was great both times we went and once was with a vegetarian, they altered one of their recipes to make it veg friendly. Might be able to do the same with coeliac?
Alfred and Constance is great great and Southern Attitude at Bulimba but I’m not sure how gluten free they are.
We ended up at Jetty on Southbank. Parked far enough away on KP to make a nice stroll of it to get there. The menu piqued her interest. No dramas doing GF and the staff/service was pretty darn good to.
Poor bugger is now on a work retreat up the coast so we don’t get to spend our actual anniversary together, but last night was a successful wedding anniversary “event”.
Gerards Bistro was my go to before moving down to Canberra for future reference. Pretty solid choices (I recommend the brisket) and I reckon they’d be able to deal with GF requirements etc. Also has a pretty cool bar out the back that’s good for aperitivo.
Before it was closed, ortiga was hands down the best restaurant in Brisbane. Wine list was next level, once I spent silly amounts of money on an anniversary dinner there with no regrets.
