I wouldn’t be surprised if Gay (Clover Moore has pretty limited impact on transport infrastructure in Sydney) tries something similar for George St - the elephant in the room of that project is if there is no other complete North/ South cycle network, what will stop everyone cycling down a pedestrianised George St in between the looong trams with already ambitious timetabling.
