what about on-one pompino frame/fork, and get a decent donor bike and build from there?
$295 for frame, fork $49.

Looks to be Large only. Do Cannondales run small? Might have to duck into a shop that stocks Cannondales and see how they go for size.

Boardman is only S & XS. Bit hubbard with Tektro R730 brake & space for fenders.

Ribble Cycles Groupset - 105/Veloce for $500-$600
Wheels, entry level mavic/shimano/campy…few hundred bucks?
Bars/stem/post/saddle/tape…maybe second or parts bin peices?
So you have a few hundred bikes left for a steel frame, which im sure FOAers can help out?

i’d go the bianchi on page 2. chorus is decent, bianchi brand is resalable.
ride it for 6 mths and if you get the bug, sell and buy what you know you want.
i’d say you’ll get your grand back on it.
