Yeah, I doubt you would get change out of that for any of the bikes there. It makes me cringe when I see the riders chuck
a ‘tanty’ on the road side and throw there bikes on the ground in disgust because of a flatty or a small machanical.
Easily ends in a bent derailieur/hanger, bent/scratched levers ect.
Obviously they take it for granted… dont they realize there are starving kids in Australia that would happily ride that Pinarello!!
Its funny most bike colour schemes match with their ‘get-up’, yet the Lampre Willier has nothing like Lampre’s Colours.
Is Cavendish the only HTC rider on the McLaren S-Works Venge?
Pity the vote only allows 10 options, so we could list all and get a better vote going.
Much agreed. Im more a traditionalist, give me a square frame /non compact /non aero anyday.
The custom black canyons are my pick… (gilbert/greipel/VDB).
i do like the black SL4/mclarens (goss has one, i know vino had one, there are a few more out there) - which is odd as i normally dont like special-Eds.
I quite like the BMC — partly because of the frame construction. I don’t think its overdesigned. However gloss black is the wrong colour. I’m looking forward to seeing that bike in bright yellow before the end of the Tour.
I also like the McLaren Specialised. It looks okay in the flat black – but I think all Specialised bikes should really be bright red.
I also like the Mavic neutral support bike. Its a nice looking bike.
PS - daniel seems to be suggesting that greenedge will be using Scott bikes next year (unless I’ve misunderstood him). And there I was, thinking that they might use upgraded Malvern Star Oppy Pros. An Oppy in the TdF? Yes!
yep. second year running petacchi is my favourite rider.
(i base my pick solely on the dayglo-ness of the kit and bike and, i suppose, if they’re close enough to the front that they’re on camera occasionally)
