freewheel cog on a fixed hub?

can i put a freewheel cog on these puppys? im guessing i can but i wont be able to put the locknut on over the top? do-able? any idea of the thread size?

are they worth it ?

Yes you can but go fixed and forget about that free wheel. I was going to go ss first as a stepping stone to fixed but went straight to fixed and never looked back. You’ll feel the love.

I’m not sure about the rims, make sure they’re not Tubulars, you don’t want them for the street. Nice hubs though :slight_smile: If they’re clinchers probably a good way into some quality wheels.

You won’t need the locknut with a freewheel - it won’t undo itself, it will just spin.
