FSA megaexo cranks on Shimano BB

So I know that alu megaexo cranks fit BSA Shimano hollowtech II bottom brackets (am running this now), does anyone know if the same applies to the BB86 hollowtech II bottom bracket? I image it will be fine, but just worried about frame clearance i guess.

Want to stick my spare gossamer cranks to a Giant TCX which is running SRAM Rival GXP (46/38 130mm) atm. Seems like an easier option than trying to locate a set of GXP compacts.

Also anyone local got pressfit removal/install tools I could use for 5 mins? :slight_smile:

I’m currently using a set of FSA Gossamer Mega Exo cranks on a 2011 Giant TCX 1. Fits fine.

Don’t have press fit tools though. Had to pay my friendly neighborhood bike store to remove/install my last one.

Are you using the FSA bottom bracket or the shimano one? I tend to try to avoid FSA bb’s, hence the question :slight_smile:

It’s a Shimano Press Fit BB.
