Geoff Scott/Clamont

Lollin that your dad rides a 53 (?) and you ride a 61.

My dad rides a 57 and I ride a 50…

Looks awesome. That is gonna stand out on any ride.

Tough to say if it’s Geoff built or imported and stickered Clamont. That little drill hole on the chain stay socket of the BB might be a good clue. Quite a distinctive fork crown too.

Round 3.

Nothing to say that it’s a Geoff Scott, but it’s a nice frame nonetheless. I plan on building it up with Shimano 600 as my main road bike for the time being to see how it goes.

Nice one Carlin. Retiring the Lemon/Lime?

Yeah, for now. The Lemon Lime is due for a bit of attention any way and I’m ready for a change. I’ll be keeping the frame though.

Built it up! After some consideration the Lemonlime will not be retired. Discovering one or two little issues with the Clamont meant that a singlespeed conversion became the best option for now.

After a pretty simple rebuild I’m happy. The rear wheel was re-built with a track hub, and most of the parts were spares. I kept the Shimano 600 theme and the clean single speed setup matches the short tip lugs and areo brake bridge while not distracting from the crazed paint. All set up for some summer riding.
