Gumwall Tires

people who commute on wider tyres.

i’m not saying you need to go to 30+, but 25-28s will fit on OPs easily and make the world of difference for a simple commuter. yes they will fell ‘slow’ at first, but then you realise how much better they roll along the road, over bumps, etc… after all do you spend more time stopping/starting or rolling along?

From my initial experiences, these also rule.

Some info on the Challenge and Grand Bois tyres:

I decided on a pair of Cerfs.

cool story bro

cool cool story bro bro.

You guys suck

you know how much I love your stories azz

I was dissing n8 for dissing you.

I plan on getting the cerf’s for my next bike. I like the look of em a lot, and the reviews sound tops as well.

^ $80/tire from Commuter Cycles plus $10 postage!

Gees I hope that they are worth it.

My new favourite tyre is the Schwalbe Sammy Slick 35c. Been using these on my CX commuter for a month or two now and they rock!
Fat, low pressure, but still fast, and has knobs on the side for safe cornering. Can’t believe a tyre of this size is this fast! Blakey, you were right all along…

Highly recommended!

Are they gumwalls?

Sorry, no.
Gumwall doesn’t hold up so well under sun/UV light, so I’ve heard.

How does this work? Are you talking about cornering on dirt/gravel?

That’s ok. I ride mostly at night as I am a vampire.

Asphalt dirt gravel etc. Not sure about the actual advantages of knobs on asphalt.

night time azz:

What does it matter whether they are gumwall or black- nobody will notice at night…

Holy Shite Doppleganger!!!

I will.

I was thinking more like this…
