Previously owned and raced by Ex Australian rider Dean Woods. Pursuit style slightly sloping top tube, doesn’t look to aggressive but feels so fast on the velo. I rode it earlier this year, before i restored it. Ken Evans has told me he only ever built 2 of these style frames for Dean Woods from Reynolds Slip Steam. Will be shown in ‘Brisbane Biking - This is how we roll’ Exhibition which opens this week. It will then move onto Fifth Battery Roastery Cafe where it will most likely stay for a while, under the watchful eyes of the Gowty brothers who’s father built for Ken Evans back in the day. This thing has been a bunch of fun to build. Being asked to supply a bike for the exhibition has really got my ass into building mode. Hoping to finish my Colnago and Ciocc Pista over the next couple of months.

Should have some better photo’s soon. I think it will be photographed a fair bit at this exhibition.

that is fucking outrageous, nice work

damn, very nice Gypsy!

Outdated technology…

But fucking NICE outdated technology.

Good work.

Fuck yeah, nicely done Dan… I havent heard much about slipstream tubing, is it comparable to 853 or is it lighter?

Love the massive front chainring, makes it look proper track.

Speedstream is a lightweight[1] ovalised 531 tubeset.

The new Reynolds range.

[1] Heavier than regular 531C and 350g heavier than 753 though.

Fucken nice Gypsy. Needs a bigger chainring though, softcock.

fukkin mean

At the risk of losing my trading access… nice bike !

Those decals by cyclomondo, I think I’m gonna get some for my unknown white powder-coated frame. I presume they’re top stuff?
Cos they look mint as on your fantastic new ride man.

one word for it,

Nice one Dan. I’d like to see it in person though.

Needs more aerospoke.
Nice ride.

Gavin ‘Biking Brisbane’ dropped in just as i was getting started with the build and took a few snaps.

Don’t be that guy.

What’s wrong with a hideously/obviously fake de rosa?
Worked with my eddy schmerckx…

This is a cool pic

Nice build gypo/

Its hard to appreciate how cool this tubing is. I’ve seen one other Kenevans with the same aero tubing in the flesh. I wet my pants.
