Have always wanted a trackshark this is very nice and a good price…
I have seen a few Max Landsharks with the MAX top tube tapers towards the seat tube junction…
Back off fuckers, this ones mine
wow, that’s an awesome frame,
did you get it brakefree??
Yeah, just got it for $560 posted to Australia,
Fingers crossed he is an honest seller
Good work. John only builds in carbon now, and a matching pump is rad.
thats pretty awesome price imo, good work dude!
jees it must be hard deciding what bike to ride
Don’t quite have that problem yet, my issue is deciding which bike to buy parts for next
The only rolling bike at the moment is my roadie, all the rest are in parts, including my half finished Cyclocross frame
Great Buy!
I like this…
He named his bike frames after the protagonist in an old “Saturday Night Live” skit that played off the “Jaws” movies.
Seller dude refunded my money cause he is having trouble finding a freight company that will post it here for less than $600
Anyone here got any ideas/ freight forwarding hookups?
myus shipito etc etc.
~$200-250 from them to you, plus insurance/handling fees.
No problems with shipito for a frame, a bike, multiple boxes of stuff.
I’ve used MyUS as well with success. For a frame only I reckon it would even be less than $200.
I could barely justify buying the frame to start with, looks like I’ll be letting this one get away
I’ve stopped bidding on framesets in the US for exactly this reason.
There is some stupid 108" rule that AusPost or their freight handler in the US has imposed that makes it impossible to get frames sent out here.
Yet I’ve bought 2 Surly 1x1 framesets and the Kona PaddyWagon frameset from Bikeman.com and all three were sent via USPS International. I’m now looking at another Salsa frameset and Bikeman will still send it via USPS for about US$120.
No-one I’ve spoken to in the US knows how they manage to do this.
As I understand it, if you have some sort of business account you get better rates on shipping your products. Joe average selling shit on ebay gets stung with standard postage fees.
maybe get bikeman.com to send it for you? chuck em some cash to use their account, surely the cheapest option?
shit thats nice!
Yeah I bought my tommasini from the US.
All up postage was $280 frame was $850.
It was my dream frame so I didn’t care.
But yeah I don’t even bother looking at frames from The US now.
To be honest I think they are over rated and what your turning out is much nicer
Aw shucks, thanks dude.
I fell in love with the spastic paint job, didn’t really need the frame,
after all, there are plenty more sharks in the sea…
