# Lugs Painted in Sydney?

The only place I’d trust this to is Star Enamellers.
I’ve had 3 bikes painted there, all of them immaculate. Peter has an Australia-wide reputation. Probably cost a bit due to all the masking required.

You are better off doing it yourself with a little touch up paint brush.

Man up and do it yourself. Even if you fuck it up at least you’ve lived life.

I bought a lil jar of paint from a model shop.Gonna have a practice on an old frame and see how I go.
Thanks for the contact though I appreciate it, and still may leave it to the professionals…

I’d say scrap the model paint and go buy some really good masking tape and a can of what ever colour you want. Good tape is invaluable on a job like this. Cheap stuff will bleed.

Just out of interest, did you want the lugs outlined or the whole lug painted? I’ve heard of people outlining lugs with some sort of paint pen, might be easier than using a paint brush if you don’t have a steady hand.
If you want the whole lug painted just mask off what you don’t painted and go for it. I’ve done this before and it was pretty easy.
