Mondern wheels with older groups

Are modern wheels compatible with older groupsets?

In particular campy eurus with an 8 speed cassette?

Older 8sp campag used a different spline pattern on the freehub to 9/10sp so if you’re looking at a Eurus with a campag 9/10sp freehub and an older 8sp campag cassette you might be out of luck.

Certainly all modern Shimano freehubs should be backwards compatible with 8/9/10 speed by the using the appropriate spacers.
Not sure about Campag though.
