My first fix

Here we go, it’s now been painted.

Only 2 days to go until I can have it back…

Nice.

What colour are you going to paint it?

http://kookiebikes.com/gallery/alutrack.htm

That’s the colour. Only the main tubes, some of the fork, and part of the seat stays are painted, the rest stays chrome.

Ok, the frame and fork are done. Except for the new decals.

It’s turned out even better than I expected.

Will post built pics as soon as I have some.

mate that is looking like a super fatty treat and I would be proud of that between my legs!

can i ask costing?

very nice Dionysis

so you chromed the whole thing, and by the looks of it, roughed up where you wanted to paint, and went over it?

you do realise that it’s too nice to ride except on sundays, right? now the bit comes where you talk yourself into another fixie “so you don’t have to worry about the nice one all the time”

The frame work cost just under $600 including a new Hatta BB and re-threading the BB Shell to suit.

As for convincing myself that I need another bike, I subscribe to the N+1 theory.

where the number of bikes a cyclist needs = N+1

N being the number of bikes a cyclist currently has.

Bailed out of French threading early??

Absolutely, I have a pretty good job but it’s not good enough to afford a Phil BB just now and the old one was craptacular.

:stuck_out_tongue:

On the “which model is it” front, I think it’s this one.

Everything is in the same places, racks, guards, pump etc. I have the guards at home, still considering putting them on but they aren’t in great shape so I’d need to re-chrome them aswell. 8)

Very sweet bike Dionysis.

Damn you!!
Here am I looking at a budget bike to ride around with Rhino up here and I stumble across this little patch of loveliness.

very nice…looks quite ‘porno’!
