My mate gave me his old road bike, it was pretty messed up, but it was in a lot better condition then the frame I was riding. So I chucked my parts onto his. Well, my wheels.
So I bought a chain tool so I could change the length of the chain on the bike, I got it all to a good length, and I rode it around for a few days. But then today on my way home the little rivet thing I put back into the chain to put it back together popped halfway out… so I must’ve done something wrong when I was changing the length of the chain…Any ideas what went wrong?
Also, I’m hoping to change the crankset soon. Anyone have something cheap they want to sell to me? And yes, I’ll be putting a front brake on, don’t worry. It’s a freewheel so I know how dumb it is to ride with just a rear brake.
