yeah that one. built for the US cycling team. thought that koichi yamaguchi built it. paid a fair price for it and had told my gf no more bikes and was thinking how i could sneak it in but got caught. worth it though and she didn’t really even get that mad.
one of my pals had already researched those frames and sent me a bunch of emails he had gotten. turns out yamaguchi only did a little help in design of the frames. no building. the frame i have was built by mark nobilette, he builds the frame for rene herse at the moment, and also was or still is doing the custom frames for rivendell too, as well as frames under his own name of course.
great builder, built me a fork for that frame for a cheaper price even.
oh and speaking of nobilette. just found this link that the guy posted to the cr list.

I remember posting that same pic to Ted Ersnt. He responded with a 300 word fit assesment. Feeling bad, I apologized and mentioned to him it wasn’t my girlfriend as he assumed. That opened the gates for Ted sending me a gazillion hot chick on bike photo’s which then got me in trouble with my girly as some of them were more than just lewd
Poor Ted, he now feels sorry for me because I lied and told him I shared the computer with my girlfriend and he can’t email me that kinda stuff
(sorry Ted)
Anyway, nice Davidson !!! Just for the coolio’s here who absorb everything, the lugs are the Rene Singer model by Richard Sachs (an homage to Rene Herse and Alex Singer influences for bike lug style).
I think I love her!
the fork on that silver thing is off the hook
i heard liam from my disco rides a travis bean track bike.
