I drank the shit out of some Speights when I was there on a hockey trip in 06. I was living in Victoria at the time, so it was a better than the local rubbish I was accustomed to.
^ The Speights bar in London was a guaranteed good timeā¦except for the fact you had to go through the Walkabout to get to the toilets.
Speights is better than CD (Chemical Draught), WD and Lion Red and my favourite shite NZ beer:

Speights, Tui, Lion Red, DB Draught, DB Export, Reineck, Canterbury Draught. NZ has as many shit beers as Australia.

The real shitters are the ones that donāt have any profile
e.g Tasman Bitter, Bullseye, Bushmans (though it was $25 for a swappa crate), etc.
Swappa crates did kinda rule though, if only you could get decent beer in the bottles.
When I lived in Wanaka, mountain staff used to get a 1/2 price deal on the locally brewed, organic beer. The ride up in the staff vans the next morning was pretty gross!
Monteiths make some nice beers though!
