I lost my mountain bike at school, a good one.
My bestfriend was the person who unlocked the bike shed and saw a 10y.o and his dad steal it after he opened the shed, luckily he knew it was mine, ran to the office and told the principle. Rat kid and father were caught but his dad didn’t have to do anything or go to court cause he said he ditched it and ran when someone saw him. Full of shit. Still hate the kid, even though his surname was ferrari.
and this is why people are happy to pay whatever it costs to buy back pieces of their youth. After re chrome you wouldn’t even recognise it.
