another vote for panasonic. i’ve been using this one for over a year, still going strong.
the reason razors go blunt is generally because they rust. dry your razors (electric or blade) after each use and it will last much longer.
This thread surprises me. I’d have picked FOA as being a 50/50 mix of beardos and straight-razor users.
i’ve always used a decent razor and for the last few years i use a shave oil as well as a decent gel. i have super-sensitive skin.
have thought about getting a electric, but i really like the clean-feel of shaving o.g. style.
i was the same till i invested in a good electric. takes a little longer but i get nowhere near as many knicks, cuts or red blotches with it. if i want an amazing super close shave i go electric and then a light go over with a blade and i’m like a baby’s bum up there. (down there is another thing all together)
