Rear wheel conversion.

Depends what you’re working with.
The OP has a thread on freewheel, but that conversion kit is for a freehub.

If you have a freehub, I think it looks pretty good.

I’m not too sure of the difference but it sounds right. It looks like I’ll have to use the same tool that removed the cluster to fit this. I’m using a standard 27inch wheel off of an 80’s twelve speed, exactly the same as all of my other ten and twelve speeds. At this price with the likely outcome of it fitting I’m going to hope for the best.

I’ll post pics once I’m finished in the correct build thread, cheers:D

^ you need a thread on freewheel if that is the case, and you will need to re-dish the rear wheel.

Exactly the same as the OP.

Post a pic. It helps.

I love potatoes.

On second thoughts it seems it’s either redishing the wheel or a new wheelset that will fix my problem, I’m moreso keen on the new wheelset idea if they sell single speed 27inch wheels where I’m able to adjust the sprocket placement.

^ correct. Have a look on eBay for a 27" track wheel. They exist and it will fix your problem!

Geez at $129 just for the rear I’ll be redishing my current wheel, I hate the thought of buying a track wheel and using the freewheel side.

Cheers guys.
