Ribble CX frameset

Looking at pulling the trigger on a Ribble 7005 CX and fork (frame $155, fork $120).

Does anyone have one of these?

I would be looking at it mostly for commuting, but the real possibility of some low-grade races looms in my future. Looks like they have a guard/rack mount boss just above the rear dropout, and on the forks. I’m happy with canti’s, I can set them up pretty well, and discs would mean I have to get a new wheelset anyway (not happening).

Thoughts? Comparative models available?

I’ve got enough parts to build it twice over, but would probably run with the 5600/5700 bits first.

If it helps at all, I used to have one of their carbon Gran Fondo road framesets and couldn’t fault it all. Construction and build quality all seemed spot on. Rode it for about a year until I decided carbon wasn’t for me.

Would buy if steel (as I have 2 spare steel cross forks).
