FWIW I did actually check the Parks Viv page closures before we left, Sand Ridge track isn’t listed as far as I can tell but maybe it closed after the 23rd
Yes I was wondering about that as you quoted the ParksVic Barmah camping guideline.
The closure information notice on ParksVic site not recording the big main gate closure on Sandridge seems extraordinary. So as you suggest perhaps it was closed after the initial notice on 23rd, as conditions got worse, then they did not update their first notice.
I’ll try to follow it up to get some sort of commitment to do better.
The main gate was also closed when I went through, but there were a couple of cars near Gulf
