Riverwalk replacement project - Brisbane City Council
I scanned the rebuild concepts when they were released about a week ago. I doubt they will go with the floating option a second time around, the maintenance costs released were far from publicly popular.
I like the idea of it being separate from the bank so would back B or C. Don’t know enought mooring and implications to back one option over the other.
Personally i prefer d…but that is just coming from a boaties point of view. As long as there are some public moorings along with the private one for the houses on the cliffs, im all for D. Would be interesting to see how all of the plans would survive in a virtual test of the flood levels that we had in january. A scale model or something would do justice, just something to see IMO.
