Road saddle help

A major thing I like about old saddles is the leather going down the side - a lot of new saddles just stop, so my inner thighs (man flaps) wear out the end of the covering and rub me up wrong.

Noticeably the last Cocor link showed the team saddles had the covering going down the side over the rails.

My 2c -

narrow hips: round-top saddle, e.g. Turbo, Concor or modern narrow/round saddle, e.g. Aspide, fizik Aliante

wide hips: flat-top saddle, e.g. San Marco Regal or modern winged saddle, e.g. ProLogo Nago

big saddle to bar drop: cutout saddle, e.g. Specialized Toupe, SMP etc.

this is good advice, holds true for me anyway.

I have wide hips and ride a regal. Old one on the fixay, ti version on the roadie. If you are already riding a concor and like it then at least start there with one of the lighter versions. your ass has spoken
