SPD's Fixed brakeless

If you’re a fan of, um, death, then SPD’s are sweet on a brakeless track bike

I used to ``rock" them, though as soon as the cleats wear then the mother truckers come unclipped, regardless of how much you wind them up. I died twice, it sucked. Go with Times IMO, I use them for work and they’ve never let me down.

Jamming your foot in the back wheel is also a nice skill to have, equally on a single speed with one brake if the cable snaps or something…

will try harder…no pedal strike ever is a bonus wit spd’s too. i have look keos as well, not practical, hutch bear traps(worried someone will steal 'em) and crupis. have ridden the spd everyday for nearly a year.,brake and brakeless.

The Jury is in and there is doubt in spd’s ability, thankyou.

The 4 gate clips on my suntour gpx pedals with double straps are great, so i’ll keep running them… I was just curious as to peoples experience as i have a set up sitting here.
I’m not buying new pedals due to being broke, but i’ll keep the Times in mind for future reference

Cheers
