Knocked this together this rusty beater to get to uni, made from an old gentlemans speedwell bike found rusting in a dump.
Pulled it apart, cleaned it and repacked the hubs and headset, built an old english track hub into the rear wheel, put on different pedals, seat, and whacked on some white cotton bar tape (which will age awesomely)
I hope you have your tetanus shots. 
Just park it near another bike and there’ll be no need to lock it up!
I do indeed, that was a prerequisite for riding this thing.

Its 58sq and I believe is a 1976 model Speedwell. Got it sprayed when I got it. Not original forks like yours either.
Never mind the comments from the hipsters that don’t appreciate old school. I think it looks great just the way it is. Nice build.

Does it have pressed dropouts?
I think mine is about 1950’s
