Did the eucalyptus tea tree vinegar ting and put bi carb in last night. Smell is still there but a WHOLE LOT less. I’ll leave bicarb in over the weekend me thinks. This works well.
sidis are synthetic and wont go out of shape so just put them in the washing machine like any normal person would
Washing machine wont kill any fungal growth. Tea tree and bicarb will.

Yep, aside from leather shoes I’ve never met a pair of shoes that have suffered from a machine wash and a good weeks hangin/airing.
a mate told me putting them in the freezer will kill the bacteria, although not sure how much your wife would like that idea.
my shoes were extremely gross after rain in london, i just hit them with febreeze a few times and they were all good again.
tried beer sanitizer recently and that also seems to do the job.
