i don’t understand at all. why spend “years & years” collating a group only to sell it???

Its missing the headset and BB, IMO 2 of the best parts of the superbe pro group. it would be like spending 100 grand on a never driven vintage car then to realise that the steering column and the drive shaft is missing.

Because they finally realised they can’t pay next months rent in their share house in Fitzroy…
^Good point about the headset and BB missing. Those two items are the rarest anyway

I see much less Superbe than Superbe Pro. Superbe track less so, high flange Superbe track hubs even less.
I’m going with [SunTour RH-3000 hubs](http://velobase.com/ViewComponent.aspx?ID=B1615DA9-8E0F-4ABB-A11B-78057804BE04&Enum=110&AbsPos=11), I will defer to Spirito / RogerRabbit etc though.

in this guys defence ive bought stuff off him in the past and hes super nice and keen to help in any way, yes the price is rediculous, but if you look at all the stuff he goes through he obviously isnt in a rush for the money and can afford to put it out there at a premium and let it sit,
fuck i know if i could i would, if you dont need the money and theres a slight chance some one is dumb enough to pay that much wouldn’t you give it a go?
also if any one does see a SSP headset give me a shout!!

this thing is the rarest! Wish I had offered more from a collectors perspective but since it was so small couldnt justify [Vintage Road Bike SUNTOUR SUPERB SR EXTRA SUPER LIGHT | eBay](http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200607549086)
but super awesome!!!

fresh: I had one just like that, but the threads were stripped, so instead erle gave me his non fluted / milled one for the Hetchins. Another milled/fluted 100mm one ended on ebay last week for $127.

Sorry about the late heads up…
I paid $73 for a milled/fluted stem to replace the on I gave Blakey. They come up every now and then and go for a reasonable price.

‘gruppo’ shall be used only when referring to italian brands
non italian brands shall have the words ‘group’ or ‘groupset’ used
