Front Wheel I do believe so, but rear wheel I can say honestly I notice a difference. Rigidity is noticed, and the fact that they actaully are used for the cobbles of Belgium also helps.

tie and soldering wheels though is from the old skool, when spokes/hubs were poor quality. You snap a spoke, and your whole wheel goes out of true. When racing accross rough courses (ie: flemish cobbles) you tend to break spoke, and as there is no support, you have to keep on riding…

Would like to learn to do it myself, as at $40 a wheel it is expensive.

Where do you put your spoke card? :-o
