Spare cleats and maybe a tire?

Looks amazing, Keith! All the best.

well, what if K meets some interesting lady/ies in those places, hey?

Then he’s got the soap! Jam a bar in each arm pit and you’re set.

^ have you had some success with that setup?

Good point point, tyre packed.

Anyone have some spare eggbeater cleats that they want to express post to me?

You won’t need spare cleats for a 9 day tour don’t worry.

A Beard??? might be a bit late to express post one tho…

Can’t wait to see this amongst other things tonight. You are going to have an awesome time dude - makes those memories stick!

I think I’ll work on that one while I am away

I do. Near new condition. Free for you mate

‘man smell’ apparently draws the chicks!

I fully support this approach.

I’d ditch this to save some weight and space.

If your only taking one or two trains some rubbish bags do the trick if your a gaijin.

and I wouldn’t take spare cleats or a tyre either, but I am risky.

On the positive side, touring in Japan is awesome!

and do some hobo-camping, just find a park or a pagoda with benches and roll your mat out.

Was hoping you would chime in!

Great suggestions, I hadn’t thought of the garbage bag rinko, brilliant!

This is awesome !!!
Sayonara kid & have a blast

A book,
I couldn’t imagine any thing better than Tales of the Otori - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I wouldn’t take a spare chain, or tyre, or cleats, and only one tube if at all. Some gaffa tape wrapped around your pump could be handy (to limp you through if you tear your tyre for example). And the Crank Bothers (see that?) multi-tool chain tool has spoke keys built in.

This article is full of useful tips I reckon.

THIS IS SO RAD! Looking forward to following this thread

Yeah you can get away with a bit as a gaijin.

Let me know if you want to know anything else, but you’ve been to Japan a few times aye.

All packed!

Removed a few things, did decide to keep the rinko as it is a pretty good pillow stuffer

Slight fuck up, wavy washer from BB went walkabout but looks like Papa Spirito has sorted me out after no small amount of effort!

The only things I had to get mum to carry were saddle bag/bivvy and quilt, I didn’t want them to run the risk of getting damaged in the S&S case
