if you ride one, you are obliged to wear the aero helmet ALL THE TIME!
And the Pink Panther disc wheel!
pfft, where’s the 650c?
theyll soon move on from that and hit up the vintage tricycles
could be for the vis. impaired, or cerebral palsy etc - but that didn’t stop me thinking what it would look like with a hello kitty disc.
team tricycle time trial. say that 50 times.
I don’t really get the point of trikes but they seem to be somewhat popular in England I understand. Cornering wouldn’t be much fun at all.
I’ve spent a little time on a racing tricycle. They are much more difficult to ride than you think, a bike rider’s reflexes are incorrect for riding trike (lean does not equal turn on a trike).
Have a look at the Tricycle Association gallery, particularly of criteriums and tandem trikes.
Take that, naysayers!
LWaB: I see what you mean. Those blokes look like they’re about to leap off the bike
It’s all about as pointless as cyclocross
I can understand for retarded people who can’t balance. Or retarded people who they they are cool.
1 less wheel would be more aero methinks.
and not the good kind of retarded either.
there is nothing redeeming about this at all.
Don’t knock it until you try it. Riding trikes is a slightly more difficult/interesting/unusual way of riding - a little like riding fixed is a little more difficult/interesting/unusual way of riding. Freewheel and gears is easier and faster than fixed, just not quite as much fun.
Just watch me.
fixed tricycles are the new … something
i rode a trike at an RTS a long time ago. it’s fun to pop it up pop it sideways so that it handles like a bike - albeit a crab-axled, unbalanced once
and there are trikes on the horizon for MELBURN
I’d still take one of these over them any day
green machine… hehe…
