Years ago I posted something similar in the pro bike mechanic thread – my wife came home saying to me that her front wheel was making a funny rattling noise. Turns out I didn’t tighten the track bolts on her front wheel after the previous service. Lawyer tabs were the only thing just holding it on. SJ for me - down at the beach at Aireys, perfect winters day, kids down running wild in the surf, sun in my eyes, sound of the beach, now having a beer and working on my bike for a ride tomorrow. Work has been bonkers last month and having some family time and bike time is straight up pure joys. ---

NSJ: not much actual rain but plenty of puddles resulted in drenched shoes and socks. SJ: method of laying out socks in a towel and then rolling them up worked a treat! ---

the strap on my trusty old knog rear light is very close to snapping & i’ve been meaning to get a new one before it inevitably fails one night. found a beat up & broken one on the road today. managed to fix it, charge it, and it works! exactly the same aside from colour & a lot more scratches. 😌👌🏼 ---
