They should light all major bike lanes with those solar powered lights that sit IN the road surface. Apparently they are nearly as cheap as road reflectors and need little maintenance.
Not quite. The road reflectors are really cheap, the solar ‘reflectors’ are reasonably cheap. No maintenance but they have to get replaced as they fail or get dislodged. Apparently solar reflectors tend to get pinched by uni students at certain times of year.
Good point. I’d pinch one if it had a Luxeon Star in it.
