If you look on the planet X website this price is the sale price. They are not normally anywhere near this cheap.
But they are always on sale it seems…
I’ll ask exactly where they are made when I next speak with. May have an Eclipse Plus EPS winging it’s way soon.

I suppose it comes down to the fact that if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is. At that price I would not be expecting an amazing finish. Speaking of all this “made in Italy” stuff, when I was in London a fella I knew got an Aluminium track frame custom made to his dimensions for around 450 GBP by some Itallian mob, may have been Dedaccai. At the time i thought that was a pretty reasonable deal, and still do.
Probably the best deal I came across when in London were Gromada frames out of Poland. They make custom frames for peanuts, relatively speaking. Bon Jackson’s are always good value too.
Wages in Poland are super low compared to western europe, and genuine polish tradies are as good as they come. If I had the money though I’d get a Mercian in a heatbeat.
Mercian, nah, I’d get a Kenevans. Don’t get me wrong they’re lovely bikes but I think I’ll leave Mercian to Sir Paul Smith et al.
I misinterpreted what you’d said. I read what you wrote as current Guerciotti production is being made by Vetta. My mistake.
No, not drunk … just drunk with passion

I love it when you come across all suggestive 'n stuff like that.
I totally dig what you’re saying about the Italian hype thing, but I’m just hopelessly infatuated.
It’s a journey we all do.
I’ve sold bikes that I’ve never thought I would. My dream bikes for tomorrow I had never heard of 2 or 3 years ago. The whole addiction is always cathartic and evolving. Luckily it’s a relatively cheap obsession and doesn’t usually cost marriages
Any update on these frames? Did anyone buy one and build it up…sadly they curently don’t have any in my size.
