I have two things to say:
Seconded about the track ends. Abbotsford in my main LBS and they’ve never said anything about conversions, but then again I’ve never asked either! How long ago did you have them done?
Indeedily that is an a.b spoke card…
Track ends were done a couple of months ago… Tis quite a neat job - might take a close up photo of them tonight (if you want), since I’ve got a rear flat to fix…
Not 100% sure about the cost though, since it all came in one big bill (track ends, spray job, remove downtube shifters, respace rear), but it was somewhere <$150…
Don’t know what it’s made of, but it seems to be surviving quite well, so it’s not overly soft…
Not this week… I’m doing my good deed for humanity at the local hospital…
No brakes (sic) for Christmas right? If so, next weekend might be a possibility…
