Tonight there is a screening of a friend’s short film. It’s a doco about a group of pro skateboarders (american/canadian/finnish etc) going on a cycling skate trip in N.Z earlier this year.
Skaters like Chris Haslam, Arto Saari, Rick McCrank, Keegan Sauder and loads more.
Not sure of the length or anything but should be a good one.
It’s at Radio on Gertrude St, 7pm, beer and pizza $10. I presume free entry?? Not sure.

Nikcee the first photo is of Hot Water Beach in the Coromandel about 2.5hrs drive south of Auckland - we used to surf there quite a lot - its got hot natural springs as per the picture that you can dig out from below the high tide mark.
A very beautiful part of the North Island and my old ‘backyard’. “Sigh”
There is a good (tough) 3 day bike race they hold over the Coromandel peninsula each year - K2 I think - must go and do it one day.
