Isn’t there a system that locks both the wheels and the seat post so theifs cant run off with anything.
this is actually more of an art project… and was done by MEC (as its out the front of their store). it was slightly controversial as more than a few people thought tey could have donated the locks to less ‘economically/domestically privileged’ cyclists around town who use crap/no locks, plus it takes up a space in an often busy bike rack. i just thought it was funny for a week, and then ignored it.
what’s more amusing is the heavy exercise bike that was BOB-trailered and ulocked out the front a rack or so away by my friend at 2:30am one morning. last i heard it was still there…
